If you receive checks, cash, or other offline donation that you want to account for in Big River, follow the procedure below.


1.  When you are logged in, click on "Transactions" in the top menu bar.

2.  Scroll down

3.  Click "Create Transaction" Button

4.  Add/Create a contact associated with the transaction

5.  Pick the appropriate form/campaign from the dropdown list

6.  Enter the amount

7.  Enter the date the donation was received

8.  Optionally create order items to detail the transaction, selecting the item and quantity.  This will update the amount of the transaction, which you may need to override

9.  Create the appropriate payment type (check, cash, etc.) and enter the check# or other relevent details.

10.  Click CREATE button
